Cinnamon and Honey Tea


Here's a victory I want to share for those of you who feel the best when you are on antibiotics for a bladder infection. If you are one of the IC sufferers who subscribes to the belief that you have a low grade bladder infection at all times and it is only medically detectable when it flares, then this is for you. I found an IC safe alternative to the cranberry. Try this, I do it twice a day and it has made a huge difference in my pain level, use 2t of cinnamon and 1t of honey in hot water and sip. One cup in the morning and one in the evening. Of course, start lighter to make sure you can tolerate the cinnamon and keep up with the water drinking, but this cleansing drink has been very helpful to me and I urge you to give it a try. I have had more success with this simple tea than the grapefruit seed supplements though I think those have merit as well for cleansing the bladder and urethra of bacteria. Drink up!
